What an outstanding article. It is hard to make a more compelling case for the deserved induction of Gil Hodges into the Hall of Fame. Congratulations for this great piece of writing. Never saw Mr. Hodges play or manage; I just read about him, watched films and got inmersed in the Boys of Summer history, but has been enough to understand how great baseball player he was and an even better human being. Hoping for a positive outcome this Sunday.
